Michael J. Zimmerman, CPA

Michael Zimmerman has served clients for over 30 years in the south Florida community. He is actively licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, mortgage broker, securities broker - series 7, Supreme Court Certified, family and circuit court mediator and is licensed to sell insurance including life, health and variable annuities.

He graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s in Arts Degree in Accounting in 1970 and became a CPA in 1976. He started his career as a staff accountant with Ernst and Whinney (formerly Ernst and Ernst), then moved on to become Assistant Treasurer and Corporate Secretary of All-Tech Industries, Inc. After four years he moved on to become the Treasurer and Director of Southern Diversified Industries where he remained six years before going out on his own to start an accounting firm. Mr. Zimmerman also serves on the board of directors for various companies. He spends a good part of his time these days taking continuing education courses to keep his many licenses active.

Mr. Zimmerman has been happily married for over 37 years and has two children and one grandchild. He is an avid golfer and thoroughly enjoys working with people. No challenge is two large for him to tackle.

     

 
Robert M. Marconi, CPA

Robert M. Marconi, CPA

For the past 40 years, Bob Marconi has been either practicing in public accounting or serving as a Chief Financial Officer for various public and private companies. He is currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.

Mr. Marconi obtained his B.S. degree in accounting from Temple University in 1966, worked as an internal auditor for Food Fair Stores, Inc. and as chief accountant for Subaru of America, Inc. before moving to Florida in 1970 where he and a partner formed and eventually took public, Ricoh Time Corp. In 1975 he moved to Miami to work for a national firm that is now part of Grant Thornton and became a CPA in 1976. In 1996 he became a Certified Valuation Analyst.

Mr. Marconi has served on several committees of the Florida Institute of CPAs and is currently on the Steering Committee of the CPAs in Industry Section. He is also the Vice Chair of the CPAs in Industry Conference Planning Committee and a member of the Common Interest Realty Association and Valuation, Forensic Accounting and Litigation Services Sections of the FICPA.

     

 
Annette Alzate

Annette Alzate

Annette Alzate has been working with Michael Zimmerman for over 20 years serving clients in the South Florida Community. She works with corporate and individual clients locally and internationally. Mrs. Alzate graduated from Florida International University with a degree in accounting in 1988. Her passion for organization drove her to the accounting profession. Her expertise includes system design, monthly reporting and her ability to navigate the various governmental agencies. Mrs. Alzate is well respected by her clients for her support and commitment to their business. She is bilingual - fluent in both English and Spanish.

Mrs. Alzate has been happily married for 19 years and has one son who is active in baseball and golf. Her passions include water sports, the beach and snow skiing.
